CNC Fanuc lathe programming course, beginners level

OBJECTIVES

Students will learn to operate and program Fanuc numerical controls on lathes using ISO programming language. The course covers essential aspects such as the coordinate system, G and M functions, tools, offsets, and program structure. It also delves into the programming of machining cycles to optimize machine performance, understand their environment, and develop efficient programming.

Cycle programming in ISO language:

• Review of the general structure of a program
• Roughing cycle (G71)
• Finishing cycle (G70)
• Drilling cycle (G74)
• Grooving cycle (G75)
• Threading cycle (G76)
• Profile following cycle (G73)
• Simulation and types.
