At REDIMA Levante, we are proud to participate in the development of the "Nueva Viruta" project, an initiative that combines technology, training, and a vision for the future to transform the machining sector through Computer Vision, Safety, and Simulation, under the principles of Industry 4.0.

The project involved teachers from the IES La Albuera (Segovia) and the CIFP Marítimo Zaporito (San Fernando, Cádiz), who received specific training in numerical control programming. This knowledge is key to the design and implementation of the project, which seeks to provide machining environments with greater precision, automation, and safety.

This initiative is part of the program of aid for innovation and applied research in Vocational Training, co-financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds. Thanks to this support, collaboration between the educational and industrial sectors is fostered, promoting knowledge transfer and training in emerging technologies.

With "Nueva Viruta," we take another step toward the future of intelligent machining, training professionals prepared for the challenges of the sector's digital transformation.
